Mrs. Spangler, M.Ed., is a retired educator with specializations in childhood development, reading instruction, and diagnostic and corrective instructional methods. During her 36 years in education, she taught students from preschool to college level. As an adjunct instructor at Centenary College, she taught teaching reading and science courses. On a national level, she has participated in judging panels for the NSF's program PAEMST and NSTA's ExploraVision program. She is presently a children's book author. Among her works is The Fort on Fourth Street, a science book for children about the six simple machines. Mrs. Spangler continues to work with her family helping families and children. On this site, she provides proven instructional strategies that can help parents with their child's education at home.
