Using Positive Words

Do the words you use with your family affect them negatively or positively?

Words matter. They have the power to harm or help. Mr. Rogers said, “The greatest thing we can do is let people know that they are loved and capable of loving.” So, begin by thinking about the words that all adults in your home are using, with each other and with your children. Using positive words can create an encouraging learning environment in your home and a happy home.
